El Lago Restaurant
The grand opening of the Restaurante El Lago was in the year 2000 and it is situated in the club house of Greenlife Golf, in the heart of the Elviria Hills development. Its design is contemporary and consists of a main hall, a separate hall for private occasions and a spectacular terrace right by the lake. The interior design has been reformed and completely redecorated in 2012 witht he help of the architects Gonzalez & Jacobson.
It was a challenge Greenlife Estates who always believed in the abilities and ideas of Paco García who has been running the restaurant from the beginning until transforming it to a well known and highly recognized name in the andalusian gastronomy and obtaining and maintaining a Michelin Star since 2005.
Paco García, director of Restaurante El Lago, has brought together a magnificent group of professionals like the Chef Diego del Río and Maîtres María José Aguilar and Antonio Jiménez who have been there since the beginning. They all are an important asset to the andalusian cuisine which is based on traditional national dishes with a touch of creativity.
The lunch menu consists of a variety of light dishes prepared mainly for golfers, professionals, residents and guests who want to enjoy healthy food.
