The commemorative events of the anniversary of the El Lago Restaurant have started with the sixth edition of The Gastronomic Days held from Tuesday 16th to Sunday 21st of March 2010.
These events have brought together five outstanding chefs like Diego del Río, the great chef of El Lago. Among those invited to this event are three restaurants who have been nominated for a Michelin Star in 2011: Llantén from Valladolid, Gastromium from Seville and Maruja Limón from Vigo. To complete this event, two of the most promising young chef from Malaga will be joining: those responsible for Avanto from Mijas and Sollum from Nerja.
In the latest edition of The Gastronomic Days, we focused on Andalusia, as it is our goal to enrich and strengthen this wonderful part of our country. To achieve this goal we have introduced in each edition wine tasting, olive oils, cheeses and artisan bread.
El Lago will hold another very special event in the coming days and for the first time, bring together nine Michelin Star restaurants of Andalusia for a unique dining experience that will make history in the haute cuisine of Andalusia.
