Residence visas for non-EU investors (“Golden Visa”) have been modified by PP, which has registered some thirty partial amendments to the draft law”Segunda Oportunidad”
Thus, now residence visas for non-EU investors will entitle to live and work in Spain. This new visa is also granted to non-EU investors who buy a property of half a million Euros or more in Spain. The time of validity is limited to one year.
If you have made a purchase of a property of more than €500.000 at the moment to get the visa but it has not formalized the transaction. Government grants you a six-month permit, giving precontract of purchase and a certificate from your bank attesting that you have the necessary amount including charges and taxes.
Also new is extension of residence permit access to more members of the investor family who moves into Spain. So far only the spouse and underage children or those over age that unable provide their needs for health reasons enjoyed such a permit.
By modifying, parents’ investor also can get a visa or residence authorization long-term. As well as, the couple although are not married, ascending line that are in charge of him and children over age dependent economically of investor and that have not formed another household.
